Do you know how beautiful you truly are? Friend, God created you. He created beauty in this world and He created YOU! Your beauty is real because of who created you and whose Spirit lives in you. The world’s standards of beauty change. God forever sees you as His beautiful creation. Friend, you are BEAUTIFUL. Don’t ever forget it.

I began to wonder...what positive affirmations can I find in scripture? What does God say about me? How can I combat Satan's lies if I don't know what God's Word actually says about who I am? After a lot of thought and prayer, I began brainstorming and dreaming about this devotional journal - one centered around affirmations that could be backed with scripture. One that would help women to discover who their Heavenly Father says they are rather than the world.

I have let all of these things crush my spirit and feed a negative mindset. And I’m over it. Joy is a choice.

This year has felt frustrating at times. Changes in routine. The only thing which remains constant is, ironically, uncertainty. I've found myself in some form of holding pattern. Holding for what, though? That is the question now, isn't it?
